Goatie works on any device with a modern browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. Install it directly from your browser as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a native app experience.

What is the PWA?

Goatie is a Progressive Web App (PWA). This means it installs directly from your browser — no App Store or Play Store required. Once installed, it appears on your home screen and opens like a native app.

How to Install on iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open Goatie in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. Confirm the name and tap Add.
  5. The Goatie icon appears on your home screen.

How to Install on Android

  1. Open Goatie in Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Billing & In-App Purchases

Important notice about payments:

Goatie is a web application. All subscriptions and report purchases are processed through our website via Stripe, not through Apple App Store or Google Play billing.

When you use Goatie through a mobile browser or as an installed PWA:

  • Billing is web-based (Stripe) — not Apple/Google in-app purchases
  • You are not charged any App Store or Play Store fees
  • Subscriptions are managed at your Billing page
  • Apple and Google do not have access to your billing data

Privacy & Login Compliance

Goatie uses email and password authentication. When installing as a PWA, no special platform login (Apple ID, Google Account) is required. Your account is with Goatie directly.

  • No Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In required to use the app
  • Account is independent of iOS or Android platform accounts
  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We do not share your data with Apple or Google

Account Deletion

You can delete your Goatie account at any time from your Settings page or by contacting us. See our Account Deletion Policy for full details, including what data is retained for system integrity.

Data Export

You can export all your animal records, health data, and ownership history in CSV format from Settings → Data Export. You own your data.
