1. Acceptance

By using Goatie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Records Are User-Entered

Records in Goatie are user-entered unless explicitly marked as verified by a connected veterinarian, auction, or breed registry. Verification badges indicate third-party confirmation, not a guarantee of accuracy. Goatie does not independently verify user-entered records.

3. No Guarantees

Goatie does not guarantee:

• Animal health, fertility, or productivity
• Sale legality or ownership validity
• Market value or price
• Breeding success or offspring quality
• Accuracy of user-entered data

4. AI Features

AI analytics are decision support tools only. AI outputs do not constitute veterinary advice, legal advice, or financial advice. Consult qualified professionals before making decisions about animal health, purchases, or sales.

5. Ownership Transfers

Goatie facilitates digital record-keeping for ownership transfers. These records do not constitute legal proof of ownership and do not replace proper legal documentation. Regulatory requirements for livestock ownership vary by jurisdiction.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Goatie to enter fraudulent records, impersonate other users or organizations, circumvent visibility or access controls, or violate applicable laws.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Ownership history and audit logs are retained even after account closure to preserve record integrity.

8. Payments and Billing

Subscriptions and report purchases are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time. Report credits are non-refundable once used and expire 12 months after purchase.

Mobile app and App Store notice: Goatie is a web application. All purchases and subscriptions are processed through our website via Stripe. When using Goatie through a mobile browser or as an installed progressive web app, billing is web-based and not handled through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase systems. This platform does not offer in-app purchases through Apple or Google billing systems.

9. Data Export and Deletion

You may export your data at any time from Settings. You may request account deletion per our Account Deletion Policy. Immutable ownership transfer records and audit logs are retained after deletion as required for system integrity and compliance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Regulatory requirements for livestock ownership, health records, and traceability vary by jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to comply with local requirements.
